Cinematographer and Editor
Job Overview
A Videographer and Editor is responsible for capturing high-quality video footage and subsequently editing it to produce engaging and professional final products. This role requires a creative eye, technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Production
o Plan and execute video shoots, including setting up lighting, sound, and camera equipment.
o Direct subjects and manage shoot logistics to ensure smooth operation.
o Capture a variety of shots to provide flexibility in post-production.
2. Video Editing
o Import and organize raw footage in editing software.
o Edit videos by cutting, rearranging, and enhancing footage.
o Add graphics, titles, and special effects as needed.
o Color corrects and balance audio to ensure a polished final product.
3. Project Management
o Collaborate with clients, producers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements.
o Create and manage production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
o Maintain organized records of project files and archives.
4. Technical Skills
o Operate a range of video cameras (Sony alpha 7III) and production equipment.
o Utilize video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
o Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in video production and editing.
5. Technical Proficiency:
o Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro,DaVinci Resolve).
o Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
o Familiarity with motion graphics software (After Effects) is a plus.
6. Skills:
o Strong visual storytelling skills.
o Excellent attention to detail.
o Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
o Good communication and teamwork abilities.
