Position Summary
The Admin Assistant Intern will provide essential support to the Operations and Administration team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in administrative tasks, front desk management, and general office operations within a fast-paced media and technology environment. The intern will play a key role in maintaining an organized and welcoming office space while developing foundational professional skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
➤ Front Desk Management
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and partners, providing a warm and professional welcome.
- Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate individuals or departments.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and delivery.
➤ Administrative Support
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, scanning, and photocopying.
- Support in scheduling meetings and managing calendars as needed.
- Help maintain office supply inventory and place orders when necessary.
➤ Office Operations Assistance
- Contribute to the overall organization and tidiness of the office in common areas.
- Provide logistical support for internal events or meetings.
- Assist in coordinating office maintenance or equipment servicing.
➤ Communication and Coordination
- Respond to basic inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Support internal communication efforts as directed.
➤ Learning and Professional Development
- Actively participate in learning opportunities and seek to understand various administrative processes.
- Receive and apply feedback to continuously improve performance.
Qualification Requirements
- Recently completed a bachelor's degree in business administration, Office Management, Secretarial Science, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Previous experience in customer service or in an office environment is a plus but not required.
- Recently completed a bachelor's degree in business administration, Office Management, Secretarial Science, or a related field.
